The curriculum includes three learning programmes: Literacy, Numeracy and Life Skills. A structured yet informal programme is provided and the philosophy of learning through play is followed. Although Grade R follows the NCS time allocation for Literacy, Numeracy and Life Skills, Grades 000 and 00 are more flexible in terms time and tend to spend a bit more time on Life Skills.

Activities are structured in such a way as to ensure integration of all learning areas and teaching is interactive and theme based. Besides creative work, free play and specialist subjects there are also two perceptual rings each day during where the focus is numeracy and language development. These take place early morning and then again after break. Learning in the Pre-Preparatory moves from “learning with the body” to “learning with concrete apparatus” and finally transitions into abstract learning.
