Senior Prep Notices 6 November 2015

News2Aftercare/ Kids Club: Please diarise the 20 November 2015 for the end of year Aftercare/ Kids Club Party, more details to follow. Aftercare/ Kids Club will be closed on Friday, 4 December 2015 and will reopen on Monday, 7 December 2015.

Tuck-shop: We will be launching our new healthy schools tuck-shop in January 2016. We would like to thank the Lunch Box for their service over the last few years. Should you have any queries regarding this change please feel free to contact tammym@graystonprep.co.za.

Valedictory: All Valedictory replies should have been returned by now. If these replies haven’t been returned to your class teacher yet, please could you do so as a matter of urgency.

Gr 6 and 7 Exams: The children will be receiving a handout on exam guidelines and tips on dealing with exam stress. A copy is available here for download for parents as well.

The revision schedule and exam timetable are available below for download and have also been shared with all the children.

BYOD programme for 2016: Grade 5 to 7 children will be using iPads as their device in the BYOD programme for 2016. Th school is well down the road with the infrastructure and training demands for the programme launch in January next year. We will hold information sessions on Monday, 9 November 2015 at 18h00 and Thursday, 12 November at 08h00.

Carols by Candlelight: The Carols by Candlelight service will take place on Tuesday, 10 November in the school hall. There will be a service for the Junior Prep children and parents at 17h30,  followed by a service at 18h45 for the Senior Prep children and their parents. Each service will last about 50 minutes and will include a performance by the choir. Entry is free and seats are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. The Grade 7 Outreach Programme will be conducting a cash collection on the evening, any donations will be greatly appreciated.  

Lost Property: Joshua Palmer has lost his hearing aid. The hearing aid is small square and brown in colour, and has a clip attached to it with fishing line.
