news 3Autumn Harvest Feast: The Grayston Prep 2015 Grade 7 Fundraising Committee and award- winning chef, Dario De Angeli,and his team from Cube Tasting Kitchen, will be taking you on a Rustic Tasting Exhibition. Children under 12 years of age are R150 per head. Click here for more information.

Grayston Carnival: The Grayston Carnival is one of our feature events of the year. The Carnival will be held on Saturday, 30 May 2015 and includes Interhouse Netball and Football for the children from Grade 1 to Grade 7. Please note that this netball and soccer tournament is compulsory for Grade 1 to Grade 7. If, for some reason, your child is not available on the day, please send an email to explaining why. The teams lists will need to be adjusted accordingly. For your convenience we have included the fixture programme and team lists on the school website.

The PA have worked tirelessly once again to include a variety of jumping castles, games and activities to add to the fun. There will be a variety of food stalls including Mini donuts, Chip n Dip, Halaal foods, Prego rolls and more. Please join us on the day to spend some time watching the children participate in the netball and football tournament and take the opportunity to meet new families and enjoy the activities on offer. Sporting Lisbon Open Day at Grayston Prep: Sporting Lisbon Soccer Schools would like to invite all Grayston Preparatory students to attend their open day training at Grayston Preparatory on Sunday 7 June  (10:00 – 12:30). Come and experience how training is done at one of the best academies in the world where Figo, Nani, Cristiano Ronaldo and many others took their first steps towards becoming top football players. Long Weekend: Due to the Tuesday,16 June 2015 being a public holiday please take note that school will be closed on Monday, 15 June 2015 and school will reopen on Wednesday, 17 June 2015. Enjoy the long weekend.

Remedial Therapist: Shamira Saeed, our remedial teacher, will unfortunately be leaving us from 12 June 2015. We wish her the best of luck in New Zealand and thank her for everything she has done for our children. We are currently in the process of finding a new remedial therapist and once a replacement has been found, parents will be notified.
