Senior Prep Notices 17 March 2017

Human Rights’ Day: South Africa celebrates Human Rights’ Day on Tuesday, 21 March and there will be a school holiday on Monday, 20 March. Please travel safely if you are going away for the long weekend.

Lunch Hour Concert: Please come and join us on Friday, 24 March at 12:45 for our lunch hour concert. The concert will consist musical performances by the Senior Prep children and it will be held on Martha’s Lawn. We also have two staff members who will perform a surprise song for the audience. A picnic hamper can be ordered from Tammy (email: in the Tuckshop. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Holiday Care: Holiday care will be closed on the following dates: 20 March 2017 and 28 April 2017.

Interhouse Softball: Please note that the Grayston interhouse softball will take place on Monday 27 March  starting at 14h50.

Thinking Week: The school will host a series of five, one-day workshops that, if taken together, provide an introduction to both the concept of the ‘Thinking School,’ and the essential elements within it. Each of the workshops also stands alone. A ‘Thinking School’ is one within which the further development of a student’s capacities as an independent, self-managing and reflective learner drive both teaching and pedagogy. Parents and teachers are invited to attend. Teresa Williams, an International Thinking Schools Facilitator, will be our guest speaker. Lost & Found: Kiara Naidoo’s (Grade 7) tog bag has gone missing. There is a pair of blue Nike running shoes inside. If seen please take it to Reception.
