Senior Prep Notices 14 October 2016

dsc_0001Bring Your Own Device Information: Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend the presentations regarding the BYOD programme for the Grade 5s of 2017. Some parents were unable to make it to either of the talks and to ensure you don’t miss out on the important information and resources shared last week we have created a shared folder with a PDF of the presentation and some “How-to” videos to help you get started. The presentation itself also includes the minimum iPad specifications required if purchasing a device. You can access the folder by following this link BYOD RESOURCES. Should you have any questions related to the BYOD programme please either leave a post-it on the Padlet Board or email Mike Atkinson (mikea@graystonprep.co.za)

Movie Night & Camp Out: The day will consist of the traditional camp out on the top field and a big screen movie. The movie for the evening is “Finding Dory”. We request that parents bring a picnic type meal and enjoy the evening watching the movie on the field with their family and friends, and then a night of camping should they wish to. Camping is entirely voluntary.

The cost for the movie night and camp out is R30 per person. Tickets will be on sale from 16:00 tomorrow from the top gate.

Please note that no braais or gas fires will be allowed. Boerewors rolls, popcorn and soft drinks will be on sale as part of the Grade 7 fundraising effort.

Parking for those who are camping will be available on the bottom fields from 14:30 on the day. Campers are welcome to unpack theirs vehicles on the top field before moving to the designated parking area on the bottom field. No vehicles will be allowed on the top field after 15:30. We look forward to enjoying the afternoon and evening together.
