The Grayston Uniform Shop: Will be open tomorrow, Saturday the 14 November 2015 and the following two Saturday’s, 21 November and 28 November, from 08:30 to 12:00 for all uniform shopping. Our normal hours are 7:00 to 9:00 on a Monday to Friday and 12:30 to 14:30 on a Monday to Thursday. The Grayston Uniform Shop now has School shoes and black sandals in stock. Shop for uniforms early to avoid low stock after the holidays.

Let the Grade 7 children Wait On You: Please join the Grade 7s at the Spur for their Outreach Fundraising Event. Bring along your family to the Morningside Glen Spur and enjoy a meal with our Grade 7 waiters. All proceeds from each meal will be donated to the school which in turn will be used by by the Outreach Committee for the five schools in Diepsloot. Because this evening is so popular we have split it in two. The 24 November 2015 will be Senior Prep . The 1 December 2015 will be Pre-Prep and Junior Prep.

Grade 6 and Grade 7 Exams: Exams begin on Monday, 16 November for the Grade 6 and 7 children. We wish them all the very best and trust that they will reap the rewards for their hard work and effort.

Assembly: Please note that there will be no assembly on Wednesday, 18 November due to the exams being written in the hall.

Academic, Ad Futura and Sports Awards Assembly: We invite you to attend the Grade 6 and Grade 7 Awards Assembly on Wednesday, 25 November at 07:30 in the John Sounes Hall.  Academic Awards for the third term, as well as the Ad Futura and Sports Awards will be presented on the day.

Aftercare/ Kids Club: Please diarise the 20 November 2015 for the end of year Aftercare/ Kids Club Party, more details to follow. Aftercare/ Kids Club will be closed on Friday, 4 December 2015 and will reopen on Monday, 7 December 2015.

Tuck-shop: We will be launching our new healthy schools tuck-shop in January 2016. We would like to thank the Lunch Box for their service over the last few years. Should you have any queries regarding this change please feel free to contact Tammy on

Tutoring for Grade Four Children: Nicola Bosman, one of our Grade One teachers (who has taught Grade 4), is offering her services as a tutor to any Grade Four children who may need help with homework, consolidation of concepts or test preparation. Should you be interested, please contact her on to make the necessary arrangements for this private service.
