Senior Prep Notices 12 April 2017

Timetable changes: This is a reminder that the Friday timetable has been adjusted for all children (Grades Four to Seven). The changes will come into effect from Friday 5 May. The changes are as follows: Grade Four Life Orientation will be replaced by Zulu on the timetable. Grades Five, Six and Seven Natural Science will be replaced by History, Geography and History respectively. 

Cycle test timetable: Please note that the cycle tests timetable will commence on Friday 12 May. The cycle tests timetable is attached for your convenience.  

Lunch Box Drive: Please pack an extra lunch for someone in need on Friday 12 May. It should include a sandwich, a juice, a fruit and a treat in a container that you are willing to donate. It will make a hungry child’s life a little less hungry. Please drop off your lunch boxes in the Pavilion.  

April Holiday Care: Come and have fun at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Holiday Care. Activities include chocolate fountain, rock candy making, biscuit tea cups, candy decorating with condensed milk paint and much more. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Please note Holiday Care will be closed on all Public Holidays and Friday 28 April. 

Holiday Safety on Campus: Please ensure children sign into all activities on campus during the holidays. Please take note of the start and end times of these activities as children may not be left unsupervised for health & safety reasons. Children dropped off at Kids Club holiday care before or after the starting time of an non kids club activity will be billed the kids club rates per a day. We appreciate your co-operation.

The Administration Department: The administration department will be closed from Tuesday, 18 April 2017 and will re-open on Tuesday, 2 May 2017. 

Grayston Calendar: The Grayston calendar has been updated for Term 2. Please take note of these changes/updates. 

Winter Uniform: Please note that the children are required to wear their winter uniform from the beginning of the second term. The details of our winter uniform are available on the school website under the section on ‘Admissions’. Click on the tab and scroll down to the subsection called ‘School Uniform’. Please ensure that all your child’s belongings are clearly marked with your child’s full name and the grade e.g. Stephen Jones, 5A. 

Happy Holidays: We wish all our families a safe, relaxing holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back, rejuvenated, on Wednesday 3 May. We will start the new term on Day 2 of the school timetable.
