Biathle School Challenge

SP Parent Consultations: SP Consultations will be held on Thursday, 12 May 2016 from 16h00 – 19h00 in the school hall for all parents who wish to meet with any of their child’s teachers. If parents have any serious concerns or issues they wish to discuss with a particular teacher we ask that they please schedule a separate interview time with the relevant teacher as the consultation afternoon will not be appropriate for lengthy discussions.

FAMSA: The Grade 5, 6 and 7 children will once again be attending an “Education for Living Programme” conducted by the Family Life Centre at the beginning of next term. A more detailed explanation outlining the dates and content covered will be provided closer to the time. Grade 5-7 parents are also invited to attend a parent talk on Wednesday, 11 May 2016. The Grade 5 talk will be from 17h30 – 18h00 and the Grade 6 and 7 talk from 18h15 – 19h00.

Grayston Winter Uniform Shopping: The Uniform Shop will be open extra hours for winter uniform purchases. Friday 8 April: 7:00 am to 12:00pm , Saturday 9 April: 8:30 to 12:30pm, Mon 11 to Wed 13 April:  8:30am to 12:30pm. The Uniform Shop WILL NOT be open over the long weekend before school starts due to the many Public Holidays from the 27 of April to the 2 May. We will open normal hours from the 3 May 2016.

April Holiday Care: 14 countries in 16 days from Monday, 11 April 2016 till Friday, 29 April 2016. RSVP slips will be sent home. Attendance for the option 1 aftercare kids is free. R180 per day for all the other Grayston children. Click here for more information.

Reminder: Parents are invited to attend the Grade 6 and 7 Academic Awards and Ad Futura Assembly on Wednesday, 6 April 2016.

Diepsloot Outreach Outing:

Grade 7: Please fill in the attached consent form and send back to school asap. Diepsloot outing on Thursday 7 April 2016.

Tuesday 5 April : Grade 4-7 must come to school in the PE kit.

Wednesday 6 April: Grade 6-7 just come to school in their school uniform, but bring their PE kit to change into after assembly.

Thursday 7 April: Barefoot day: Experience a day in the life of a child who does not have shoes to go to school. Please come to school barefoot and bring along a pair of shoe/shoes to donate and/or a tin of food. Let’s make a difference to as many peoples lives as possible.
