Our New Co-curricular 4

imagesOur new Co-curricular 4 schedule will commence Monday, 7 September 2015 and run until Friday, 9 October 2015. All children need to attend two co-curricular activities, one of which must be a sport. They are of course, welcome to attend as many as they would like.

Grades 1 and Grade 2

Grade 1 and Grade 2 athletics will take place during PE lessons and there will be no afternoon sports offered by Grayston for these grades. Co-curricular activities provided by external service providers (such as Sports Advantage Cricket and Football, ballet etc.) will go ahead as normal.

Grade 3 to Grade 7

Athletics:  The Athletics Squad will consist of the following as per the Interhouse Athletics meeting:

  •         children who placed in the top 6 per field event and
  •         children who placed in the first 6 positions in the “A” track events.

These children will need to attend athletics practices as per the co-curricular timetable. There will be an athletics holiday clinic for these athletes from 1 September 2015 to 3 September 2015 from 9:00 to 11:00, at no cost.

Cricket and Softball:  All children who are not part of the Athletics squad may participate in either cricket or softball.

If you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Grayston Sports Desk on sport@graystonprep.co.za.
