Junior Prep Notices 31 March 2017

Grandparents’ Tea Party: This annual event is to be held on Wednesday, 12 April from 10:30 until 12:00 noon. We would appreciate it if our guests could be seated by 10:20. After the entertainment in the hall, the children will take their guests to their classrooms where they will have tea together. With your permission, the children are welcome to go home with their guests. School will close at 12:00 for the holidays but aftercare will function as usual.

Library Books: All library books must be returned by Friday 31 March.

Maths Mornings: The Maths Mornings have been very well attended and we appreciate your support and interest. The children certainly enjoyed sharing their learning with you!

Grade One: What a busy week we have had! We have been immersed in project based learning and have delighted in discovering various habitats and creating creatures to inhabit these.

Grade Two: We have been working hard on our project about traditional homes and are looking forward to sharing our knowledge and ideas with our friends.

Grade Three

  • The Grade Threes enjoyed learning about the many people who work at Grayston and were so excited when they went off to interview and photograph these staff members. Once we have collated the books, we will send them home for you to enjoy.
  • Please remember that Co-curricular 2 programme takes effect on Monday, 3 April. Children should bring the correct kit to school for these activities.

April Holiday Care: Come and have fun at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Holiday Care. Activities include chocolate fountain, rock candy making, biscuit tea cups, candy decorating with condensed milk paint and much more. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Please note Holiday Care will be closed on all Public Holidays and Friday, 28 April 2017.
