DSC_0678Junior Prep Class Party: We invite all our JP families to join us for the class get together on Friday evening, 10 February on the JP playground. The children thoroughly enjoy playing in the wide open space while you get to know the other parents.

Grade One

  • The Grade One children have started their formal schooling with a bang! They have settled well, are sl
  • owly learning the new routines and have even started reading already!
  • Please ensure that they bring their message folders to school every day and that they return the reading activity book every Friday.

Grade Two

  • The Grade Twos are off to a great start, exploring Me and My Family and revising mathematical concepts such as doubling, halving and adding.
  • We are collecting used, clean 5 litre ice cream tubs. Please send these to school if you have any.
  • Please ensure that the children bring their message folders and denim bookbags to school every day. If your child has lost the bookbag, please let the teacher know so that it can be replaced. Your account will be debited accordingly.
  • A reminder to return the medical document if you have not already done so.

Grade Three

  • The ‘big fish’ of the Junior Prep, these children have settled in like pros and have enjoyed their first week of co-curricular activities.
  • Please make sure that the THRASS dictionary has been covered in adhesive plastic and returned to school by Monday.

Tuckshop Cards: Please note that new children’s tuckshop cards are being processed by the Lunch Card company. Once they are ready, they will be distributed to the class teachers. A help guide is issued along with the cards to assist in setting the account. For existing cards that have been misplaced, a new replacement can be ordered directly with Lunch Card and it will be delivered to school.

8 Mile Swim: We wish coach Calvin all the best as he embarks on swimming the Midmar Mile eight times in support of the Princess Charlene Foundation.

He is swimming for the love of the sport and to help create awareness on water safety in underprivileged areas.
