Junior Prep Notices 11 March 2016

DSC_0328Grandparents’ Tea Party: The reply slips for this event are due by no later than Friday, 18 March to facilitate catering. Should you have any queries, please contact

Progress Interviews: If you have not yet made an appointment to see your child’s teacher, please consult the interview schedule on the classroom window and choose a time that is convenient for you.

Grade One Photographs: The Grade One children are asked to bring one or two photographs of family members to school for their isiZulu lesson next week. These will be returned to you.

Grade Two Appeal: The Grade Two children are asked to collect empty tins for a project. Please ensure that these are clean and that all sharp edges have been removed.

Grade Three Outing: The Grade Three children will be visiting the Holy Family College, a Johannesburg heritage site, to experience a Victorian school morning on Friday, 18 March. Please ensure that the permission slips are returned to school prior to the day.

Cake and Candy Sale: The Cake and Candy will take place at break on the 24 March 2016. The Grade 7 children will be making delicious goodies to sell on the day.  Please remember to bring your money and support them.  Bringing smaller denominations helps make the process go quicker. Goodies will cost between R5 and R8.

Grayston Biathle School Challenge: The annual Biathle will take place on the Thursday before Easter.  The first event will be at 11.00 and the Grade 7 children will finish off the morning at 12.00. Please see the rules and the entry form attached. Children must be able to swim – although there will be lifeguards, noodles, boards and belts available.
