Junior Prep Notices 1 April 2016

World Book Day

Grandparents’ Tea Party: There is great excitement as we prepare for the Grandparents’ Tea Party next Friday, 8 April. Guests should please be seated in the John Sounes Hall by 10:20. The programme will commence at 10:30 after which the children will entertain their guests to tea in various venues around the school. Children may go home with their guests should you wish them to do so. Alternatively, they should be collected at 12:00 when school closes for the holidays.

Farewell: It is with regret that we bid farewell to Mrs Louise Tumazos. We thank her for her contribution to our school and wish her well in her future endeavours. Miss Aimee Johnson will take over Grade 1D from 3 May.

Co-curricular 2: The Grade Three children are reminded that the Winter Co-curricular programme commences on Monday, 4 April. Please consult the schedule on the website for the netball and football practice times since these are compulsory activities in the Winter Term.

Grayston Winter Uniform Shopping: Shop Extra Hours: The Uniform Shop will be open extra hours for winter uniform purchases. Friday 8 April: 7:00 am to 12:00pm , Saturday 9 April: 8:30 to 12:30pm, Mon 11 to Wed 13 April:  8:30am to 12:30pm. The Uniform Shop WILL NOT be open over the long weekend before school starts due to the many Public Holidays from the 27 of April to the 2 May. We will open normal hours from the 3 May 2016.

Reminder: Next Week is Red Week.
April Holiday Care: 14 countries in 16 days from Monday, 11 April 2016 till Friday, 29 April 2016. RSVP slips will be sent home. Attendance for the option 1 aftercare kids is free. R180 per day for all the other Grayston children. Click here for more information.
