Co Curricular - Music

Music is offered on two levels: as an extra-mural activity, with individual lessons and participation possible in a wide variety of instruments and as a formal subject from G000 to Grade 7. The Recorder is a compulsory instrument from G3 to G7 during the formal classes.

Grayston Prep offers Junior and Senior Prep Choirs, Orff Bands and Marimba Bands where participation is part of the extra mural activity programme. Children are required to participate in two extra-mural activities from G3 to G7 whereby a cultural extra-mural can be considered as one of these activities.
